It has the newer destination signs and carries a current fleet number. It was probably rehabbed but like you, I don't understand why it's red either. |

During high peak travel times the hound often uses buses from other operations to fill the void. They even use buses that appear in "demo" type schemes. And the hound always places its name and the Dallas registration on them.jrc |

Umm I'm pretty sure that they do not in fact do that with the rentals, like from Raritan Valley. And either way, this bus is clearly a GLI owned unit. Dead giveaways are the destination sign and the yellow handrail. |

If I did not see rear, I STILL believe this was Trans Bridge....Pennsylvania registration is ALSO rear only...4 digit numbers (Trans Bridge has 3 digit number except the leased fleet from NJ Transit) helped me to correct me. But, why painting red? There are several "red Greyhound" reported and Bolt bus is NOT red. (I think Bolt color is orange.) We should wait the answer.... |

That could make sense, but G'hound is pretty much on top of such things, and they would brand the entire bus and not leave such shoddy conditions for a "new" service. It's a completed refurb - what GLI does at times because they need the equipment is that they paint the buses in stages.Academy did the same a few years back when they acquired their second-hand DL's. |
