QV Depot Service Issues? |

Posted by JayZeeBMT on Fri Jun 29 13:49:33 2012 Wondering if QV is having unusual difficulties making service lately. There have been long, repeated gaps in service these last few weeks, imcluding just now--a three-interval gap of 30 minutes. Service on this route has become unreliable, and I only get silence from NYCT on this. Anyone know what's going on? |

Last year the buses had A/C issues and I doubt QV would want to run B/O'd buses in this weather, the RTSs there be having the A/C issues.They had to bring in loaners to help make service, maybe something slimar will happen this summer. If that's the issue that is. |

The Summer schedule doesn't begin until July 1, 2012, based on the information currently available to me.You can always go to QV and ask to speak to the depot manager. |

I never cared he didn't pay the fare; that stuff stopped bothering me after I made it off probation.. LOL. What bothered me about him was... err... shall we politely say... his effervescence? LOLI've got some video of him. Whenever he tried to board my bus, I simply whipped out my camera and started filming. All I said was, "For the NYPD". He decided it wasn't worth the hassle of boarding my bus again, and avoided me ever since =) |

I don't think I'm all that interesting, and quite frankly, would have the same tales any other bus driver would have to tell!My story is actually depicted in the video I mentioned earlier, with the exception of the beginning of my career, where there was no digital media, I didn't have a digital camera nor a computer, for that matter. My story would be how I despised an agency while at the same time found a "family" in the people I served over the course of my years at Queens Village. Though I also drove in service out of Manhattanville and Gleason, I wasn't at either long enough to establish the relationships I had with my people in Queens. Actually, for some of those older days, I'd need a refresher of my own history LOL! Anyone seen Gary Chatterton lately? He was the first I met among you. I haven't seen his handle in ages, but he was with me when I first came online (or shortly thereafter). I *think*! |
