Posted by r17-6599 on Fri Jun 15 20:15:49 2012 This MAN Americana made an appearance in May 1987 at Bee Line in Yonkers. It left the property shortly after I arrived. Not sure if it ever saw service.Njoy jrc |

Apparently the luck they had with the artics (which were mostly AMGenerals) didn't carry over to the Americana. Not many were built and few properties had them. Chicago had a sizable order. The remark in my post referred to the demo shown; I wasn't sure if it saw service in Westchester, and if it did do a run, it wasn't for very long. Luck with the artics not withstanding. jrc |
