It will occur at 11AM in front of Ulmer Park Depot, Saturday June 16th. Local 100 will participate.

Why do these people rely on MTA?
If they set up their own (like people in Woodlawn), it might be cheaper operating cost than MTA.

People should realize that TWU 100 and politicians use people as a tool.

i have not seen one of those special vans on da weekend here in woodlann heights in da bronx. we still have to walk to 233rd st and katonah ave to get da bronx 16 to da 4 train and D train on 205th st and bainbridge ave.
i live here in woodlawn for da past 8 years.

You would also get poorly trained operators under much less supervision and scrutiny than what is done at NYCT.

It would run like the Chinese buses. Cheaply and no safety checks for buses or drivers.

Either that or dollar vans.

Those guys are offensive drivers, whereas professional NYCT drivers are defensive ones.
