Coming home from work today on GA's 9472 on the B57, caught a transmission on the bus radio:

Q60 bus operators on the westbound Triboro Bridge were asked to safely assist passengers from bus 9427 which has broken down on the bridge.

Our RTS's are getting very long in the tooth Bill. They're about on their last legs and need constant attention to keep them running. 126 could definitely use an infusion of new or newer 40 foot buses!

I was just kind of suprised that a bus that old was on that route..........but of course if a pull-out was needed and that's all that was available........

Those 9500s/9600s at 126st are the best treated 1998 Novas in the system. Send them here, I wouldn't mind. :D

The 07 NG's aren't very reliable. RTS's are used quite often on the M60.
