The 5900 Orion Vs at JFK are going to be replaced with 1996-97 Novabus RTSs from NYCB. The 6000s, 6000- 6099 WILL be retired. Those are available for retirement. There is also an option order with these LFSAs for 172 MORE units, which will be awarded next month. If so, THOSE UNITS will be 1290-1461. HOWEVER, there is no guarantee that that option will be taken.-Nick |
