MTA wants to go back in time on metropolitan ave

B54 bus detoured due to street festival, detoured as follows:

Eastbound:Via Metropolitan Av, left on 69 St, right on Juniper Blvd, right on 80 St and regular route.

Westbound: Via 80 St, left on Juniper Blvd, left on 69 St, right on Metropolitan Av, and regular route.

Please allow additional travel time.

OK, so when it had a "B" is was called the B53, but still; becuase of this simple mistake, the detour doesn't appear on the Queens diversion listings. So if you didn't know that Metropolitan through middle Village is closed for a street fair and you needed the Q54, you've got a problem.
