WTF happen to Orion?.1. They were too expensive to outbid Gillig for small TA orders 2. They had two big customers in MTA and TTC, but let too many of the other top 50 fleets get away 3. They never developed an articulated model |

Does New Flyer count actual buses or those '40-foot equivalencies' they always refer to in their reports (one 60-foot bus is considered the equivalent of two 40-foot or smaller buses)? |

My question is ..is this the reason why the MTA had that Gillig Advantage BRT parked outside of 2 Broadway last month? Are they thinking about using them since Orion took a powder? IT IS A COOL LOOKING BUS. |

Going forward, I see NABI as being in trouble more so than anyone else. ElDorado has a small bus market to keep it going, an Nova Bus now will have the Canadian market that New Flyer doesn't get. Nova Bus probably may well be the beneficiary of Orion's demise. What will happen when the orders for LACMTA and NJT are complete for NABI? |

Also, lately Broward County Transit (7 orders totaling ~180 buses since 2005). And Miami-Dade Transit has been a big NABI customer since 1998. |

Yeah..I can see that happening..I can also see them using Nova bus more in the near future since they are now ONCE AGAIN located in NYS,hoping this will shorten delivery time between the manufacturer and the client.. |
