Bus companies operating in interstate commerce are not required to provide this information to NYC in order to stop in NYC under federal law. In this case, federal law overrides any local ordinance to the contrary. |

This is getting ridiculous. How's it the cities business how many people the company carries, or where they park the bus as long as it's a legal spot. The idea of organizing the pick up/drop off locations does make sense though, but they're still trying to over regulate without actually achieving any kind of improvement in safety |

So in other words, this legislation will do absolutely nothing. Nice. |
