not that it matters much, but twice today I noticed n (lower case) instead of N on "NICE" digital route signs, front and rear, as in n80 and n23.
Also, along Jericho Tpk Mineola, some bus stop signs now have lower-case n route numbers. Not completely new signs, but just a horizontal strip of adhesive.
Does lower-case hint lower service?

Lower case suggests to me a change of computer chip.

LOL, lower service? No, its suppose to reflect the change in service from the MTA to Veolia, because the MTA uses capital letters.

The lowercase "n" is the result of NICE Branding. The logo is in orange lowercase letters. The Lowercase n is used on route signs, schedules, bus stop signs, etc. If it's still capital, then the bus stop sign hasn't been completely replaced, or the route code hasn't been re-flashed.
