Posted by Mr RT on Mon Apr 23 08:11:29 2012 The Transit Museum will run, for the third year, a Arnine subway trip to Rocakway Park to meet their old buses that will give you rides to Riis Park.Typically they bring a half dozen buses of various vintages so you can have a ride on several throughout the day. I've done it the past two years & found it very enjoyable. |

The small staff there that was "restoring" old buses was cut as a cost saving measure, so the several buses that they had begun work on has stopped. This includes 617, a couple of Yellow Coaches, & a couple of double deckers. |
