The MTA - going every which way (with the paint scheme) |
Posted by AMoreira81 on Mon Feb 27 15:53:23 2012 And this is just on the O7 first generation fleet.Original scheme (as shown on 3713): ![]() First repaint scheme with painted doors ![]() Extra window trim added ![]() Window trim deleted for the first time ![]() Blank front introduced with window trim and blank doors ![]() ![]() Blank front introduced with no window trim ![]() Front stripe comes back with window trim and blank doors ![]() ![]() Front stripe retained but with the window trim removed. ![]() ![]() That's seven different liveries on a fleet of 1,082 buses (3 O7s retired). Why not just settle on one paint scheme? |

I don't like the front without the blue stripe on it. And I don't really like the all white paint at the back. |

I doubt it's a design issue. It's not uncommon to have this happen when a TA operates a large fleet of the same bus model. Boston's MBTA had a rash of RTS fires a few years back. Every one was found to have a different cause. |
