The NYTM was supposed to save 1001 and 317. The plan for 1001 was scrapped and as for 317, during the repaint, someone at MTA screwed up and they just scrapped the bus. So in simple words, as of right now, no plans for an artic or CNG to be saved.

They should really save one of the Private Bus Lines V CNGs....708 would be a good choice as being the first one out of the order.

I'm not sure, but I heard 2000 New Flyer C40LF 911 is designated to be saved. Again I'm not sure if this is true or not.

Even though Museum wants to save the natural gas bus, the bus cannot keep operating condition due to the age restriction of the gas tank.

Yes, it's something you would have to deal with.

I don't know that there is anyone coordinating any future bus saving effort. Because it would cost money & I think they are still in a save money at all costs mode.
