Effective Sept 10, 2011: BM1 BM2 BM3 BM4 BM5 Saturday schedule changes

BM1: Mill Basin - Midtown/Downtown; The last Manhattan-bound bus from 56 Dr/Strickland Av now leaves at 4:30 PM.

BM2: Canarsie - Midtown/Downtown; The last Manhattan-bound bus from Flatlands Av/Williams Av now leaves at 4:40 PM.

BM3: Sheepshead Bay - Midtown/Downtown; The last Manhattan-bound bus from Emmons Av/Shore Blvd now leaves at 4:20 PM.

Effective Sept 6, 2011: S46 S96 Some buses now stop or terminate inside Teleport Business Park

S46 / S96:

Some buses now stop or terminate inside Teleport Business Park

Some S46 and S96 buses stop or terminate inside Teleport Business Park on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Before you board, look at the destination sign on the front of the bus to make sure you are on the right bus to the Teleport or West Shore Plaza.

Effective Sept 4, 2011: Q10 Route changed in South Ozone Park
Q10: Good news for Lefferts Blvd branch customers to JFK Airport
To provide faster, more uniform and reliable service, Q10 local buses on the Lefferts Blvd branch will remain on Lefferts Blvd south of Conduit Av, continue along Lefferts Blvd and Pan Am Rd into JFK Airport, where they return to their regular route along 130 Place.

* Q10 local buses will follow the same route as Q10 Limited buses.
* Q10 local buses will not run on Conduit Av or access JFK Airportat 134 St.

Customers traveling to 150 Av (between 130 and 134 Sts) or 134 St should use the Q10 Rockaway Blvd/130 Street branch, which is unchanged.
Customers on Lefferts Blvd at 135 Av can also take the Q37.

Q10 Rockaway Blvd/130 St branch
The current route and bus stops of the Q10 Rockaway Blvd/130 St branch are unchanged; however, the
destination signs of these buses will be changed to read “via 130 ST.” This distinguishes it from southbound
Q10 “short” trips which only travel along Lefferts Blvd as far as Rockaway Blvd.

Effective Sept 4, 2011: Q39 Westbound route revision in West Maspeth
Q39: The New York City Department of Transportation is revising traffic patterns in West Maspeth, which includes converting 58 St to one-way southbound and Maurice Av to one-way northbound between Maspeth Av and 55 Drive .

New westbound route (to Long Island City)
The Q39 will travel on Maurice Av from Maspeth Av to 55 Dr, continue on 55 Dr to 58 St, then returns to its regular route along 58 St towards Long Island City.
Then Q39 will no longer travel on 58 St from Maspeth Av to 55 Dr.

Bus stop moved
The westbound bus stop at 58 St/56 Dr has been relocated to Maurice Av/56 Dr.
The eastbound Q39 bus stop (to Ridgewood) is unchanged at 58 St/56 Dr.

Effective Sept 4, 2011: B25 Full-time service to Fulton Ferry and DUMBO
B25: The B25 will now serve the Fulton Ferry and DUMBO neighborhoods via Front St, Main St and Water St at all times.

The first stop is on Old Fulton St at Elizabeth Pl.

Effective Sept 4, 2011: Q45, Q47, Q49 Route changes in Jackson Heights
The New York City Department of Transportation is revising traffic patterns in Jackson Heights, including closing 37 Rd between 73 St and 74 St, and revising traffic flow at the intersection of 73 St, Broadway and 37 Rd.

How the street changes affect Q47 and Q49 southbound service.
The Q47 leaves 73 St at 35 Av, travels on 35 Av and 75 St to access the 74 St Bus Terminal/Victor Moore Arcade.

The Q47 no longer travels on 73 St south of 35 Av or on 37 Rd from Broadway to 75 St.

The Q49 leaves 35 Av at 75 St, travels on 75 St to access the 74 St Bus Terminal/Victor Moore Arcade.

The Q49 no longer travels on 35 Av west of 75 St or on 73 St from 35 Av to 37 Rd.

35 Av (east side of 73 St) - Bus: Q47
75 St (south side of 37 Av) - Bus: Q47, Q49

Q47 customers should continue to use the southbound bus stop on the south east corner of 73 St/35 Av.

Q49 customers should use the southbound bus stop on 35 Av at 76 St.

All other northbound and southbound bus stops are unchanged,
including all current southbound Q47 bus stops on 73 St between 31 Av and 35 Av.

Q45 and Q47 routes combined into one direct route.

Now our customers can enjoy convenient “one-seat service” between Glendale and LaGuardia Airport’s Marine Air Terminal.

To improve north-south service, the Q45 and Q47 have been
combined into one direct route operating between the Marine Air Terminal in LaGuardia Airport, Jackson Heights, and Glendale. This route is labeled the Q47.

The new Q47 will operate on the same routes and serve the same stops as the Q45, except for the Q47 southbound service changes mentioned above.

At the 74 St Bus Terminal/Victor Moore Arcade, customers may board the southbound Q47 to Glendale on Broadway
(at the current Q45 boarding area). Customers may board the northbound Q47 to the Marine Air Terminal at the current Q47 stall in the terminal.

Service frequency and hours of service on the combined route are unchanged.

Please note: During weekday morning rush hours, some buses will operate only as far as the 74th Street Bus Terminal/Victor Moore Arcade both from the Marine Air Terminal and from Glendale. These “short trips” will be noted on the bus destination signs.

Effective Sept 6, 2011: QM2A is now the QM20
The QM2A route between Bay Terrace and Midtown via Clearview will now be called the QM20.

There are no changes to the route, bus stop locations or hours of service.

There are minor weekday rush hour schedule adjustments.

Your bus, signs and schedules will now read: QM20.

Updated timetables will be available soon on buses and at mta.info.

Effective Sept 4, 2011: BxM7A is now the BxM8
The BxM7A route between Pelham Bay/City Island and Midtown will now be called the BxM8.

There are no changes to the route, bus stop locations or schedule.

Your bus, signs and schedules will now read: BxM8.

Updated timetables will be available soon on buses and at mta.info.

N1 - Weekdays: Some southbound PM “short trips” currently ending at Green Acres Mall will be extended to the regular terminal in Hewlett to enable better connections with the N31/N32.
Sundays: Service will operate uniformly every 45 minutes all day.

N6 - Weekdays: There will be minor adjustments to provide more uniform departure times.
Saturdays and Sundays: There will be minor adjustments to eastbound late night service to provide more uniform departure times.

N15 - Sundays: There will be a minor adjustment to southbound early AM service to operate uniformly every 30 minutes.

N24 - Weekdays: There will be minor adjustments to evening departure times to enable better connections to the N25.

---

N62 South Freeport Industrial Loop - Service will operate uniformly every 20 minutes during the weekday AM and PM peak periods.

N70/N71/N72 - Weekdays: The last westbound N70 will depart later to better match SUNY Farmingdale class schedules. The last westbound N71 will depart Sunrise Mall later.

---

N88 - The last day of service for the season will be Sunday, September 11, 2011. N88 service will operate Labor Day weekend September 3-5, and the following weekend, September 10-11.

N88 service will not operate Tuesday, September 6 through Friday, September 9.
