I am thankful most of my bus travels are UP routes and have nice access to the rts. The RTS feel like home and I will be sad when they are all gone. Would be nice if the mta rebuilt some instead of paying 700k on new buses |

I just can't stand the oldest ones getting sent here. UP has has nice overall RTS fleet, but FP overall RTS fleet is garbage (one of the worst). Only a few them hare even worth mentioning. Luckily GA buses are close to me as well. |

Most of my travels is on a Gleason route (B8), but I agree with you. I sorta have the same opinion about C40s 800-989. That bounce and all the personality those older C40s have will be missed, those buses have so much swag, esp when they be on the B35, love em! 858 is my favorite, the takeoff is incredible!I have yet to ride these new ones, I ridden 801 on the Q25, but I yet to even see 230 in real life. don't feel like running around CP service area to look for em. When Gleason or SC gets one, its a wrap! |

All those RTSs should have went to SC instead of LGA dammit. I mean SC is supposed to be getting new C40s, AFAIK, LGA ain't getting factory fresh buses anytime soon. Would have been easier to dispose them to ECH, oh well. |

All of the 700s except for 719 have been transferred to CP. What you saw was the product of a major bus movement. |

If the fleet age thing works the way it should, then for every NG FP gets, they should be sending out the YOUNGER RTSs. If you don't like old buses, then move to some area served by younger RTS buses. Otherwise tough, depots don't revolve around you. |

No, it makes no sense sending the 9500s to some other lousy area. The 1998 Novas are already 13 years old and there's really no point of giving them away. The 9500s should just live out their lives here.Even if they are some of the lowest mileage 1998 Novas, all OrionVIIs still have less mileage. If other depots need fleet age balancing, then give them OrionVIIs. Also Staten Island is free of pre-1999 buses, so how is that fair to leave all the 1996 crap here? |

The NGs still look much better than most of 1996 Novas here, which have cracked floors and scratched seats. Best of all, the NGs don't have burning hot rear seats like the RTSs have, though the padded ones stop mosr of the heat. |
