I'm pretty sure that the 1998 and 1999 NABI 40LFWs and 35LFWs have Cummins C8.3G engines. The 2001 NABI CNGs and 2002 NABI LNGs have Cummins C Gas Plus engines. |

I did ride on an L40LFR right after these photos were taken (but I wasn't able to photograph it). After being yelled at by an operator for taking photos of buses, I NEVER photograph buses that I am planning on riding on. |

That's actually a pretty common practice outside NYC and a few other Northeastern TA's, probably to allow riders to bike between the bus stop and the trip origin/final destination. I just wonder why bike racks on buses are less common in the Northeast. (PS, I really think the above response is a stark evidence of the NYC-centric nature of this board) |

Heh, it's relatively common in the Northeast too except the New York Metropolitan Area (and this includes most of northern NJT, as southern NJT buses, sans the MCIs, have racks).I'm actually very surprised that MTA New York doesn't use them, because there are tons of bikers up there. Although I haven't used bike racks much since I'm not much of a biker, I've found them to be very convenient for when the bus stop is a tad far away and my destination is too far for me to ride (or too dangerous on a busy roadway, etc). I wish back then all the buses had them, but only the SEPTA El Dorados came equipped with them (now SEPTA retrofitted all of the buses with these racks). |

That's the Fulton Center, designed by the local architecture firm Architekton. You can see more photos here. It was built in 2005 and was the first ASU building to achieve a LEED rating.I really like the building as well; it is one of my favorite in the Phoenix area. |
