PHOTOS: Frozen Buses on Quentin Road

I went out this morning to see if I can get to work and if the trains really weren't running (they're absolutely not). What a horrible storm. It's bad out there. The side streets are nearly impassable and when the wind whips up, watch out, it's nasty. But anyway, there were buses frozen and sitting in the snow on Quentin Road at the Kings Highway station and at Ocean Avenue. I don't know if they're disabled or not. Here are some pics:

That picture of 4618 and the the LOL factor! I think that the MTA just left that bus there for a whenever we can get it back to the garage.

Nice photos! Thanks for taking them and sharing them. And thanks for venturing out of your house against the poor advice of many people here.

Glad you liked them. The problem out there is the wind and the freezing cold. I was able to walk (or jump) through the snow, but my hands were getting frostbitten. And it's not only buses that are getting stuck...

I got a ENY bus stuck on Bway near Park Avenue in Brooklyn stuck. He has been sitting there for almost 45 minutes. Orion VII #6797 to be exact.

Nice pictures, I know Fresh Pond is using mostly RTSs today but even those are struggling to get through Myrtle Ave's snow. Good, let them take the punishment. Keep the Old gens inside.

I went back out at around 3 o'clock. The buses at the KH station were still there; however, at Ocean Avenue, only 739 remained. A couple of guys were trying to place some kind of an old beat up looking carpet in front of the bus. Hey, if it got the others moving.....

I still wonder why Spring Creek even sent anything out yesterday morning
By 8AM, I had 4-5 B103 short turns (to Brooklyn College) stuck on Ave I, because Nostrand and Flatbush became a bus parking lot
I got to listen to the sweet sounds of DD50CNG all morning
