Posted by Hoghead on Tue Aug 31 17:38:20 2010 Darius McCollum is at it again. He was arrested by NYPD on a Van Wyck ramp in a stolen Trailways bus. The bus was stolen in Hoboken about 7 AM. Since it was interstate (started in NJ and arrested in the bus in NY) it's a Federal matter.Suspect Darius will spend a long stretch in a Federal prison. |

The maximum sentence is 10 years in federal prison. See 18 USC 2312.Looking at an unofficial sentencing guildeline calculator, they call for at least 57 months, but a sentence could go up to 105 months, depending on how much Trailways New York valued the bus. (I'm expecting a sentence of about 6 years.) |
