My guess is that the B49 will be pushed to Bedford Avenue in both directions. Running two locals on one street (in the case of the B44 and B49) would be basically pointless. |

Can't have the B49 on New York in one direction and Bedford in the other. The streets are just too far apart. Remember, there are people getting on at Ocean and off at Rogers, and getting on at Bedford and off on Ocean. They can't be expected to walk from Bedford to New York.I'm pretty sure the B49 will stay the way it is. They could move it to run on Bedford in both directions but I don't think they would want an SBS on one street and a local on another. It was dumb to pick the 44 in the first place for SBS without some other major bus reroutings. |

The B49 is redundant to the B41, B44, and B48 in its current form and should be rerouted to the Crown Heights subway station via Empire Boulevard and Ocean Avenue, but it's going to stay as is. Sending the B44 +SBS up Rogers Avenue missing the Kings County Hospital is a no-no. |

I have once considered extending the B 49 to Williamsburg Bridge Plaza to support B 44 SBS. The B 44 Local will all terminate at Flushing Av. How about that idea?I also consider to combine the B 48 and B 49 but I figure it would be too long of a route. What do you think also? |

I suggested in 2003 a modified version of the B82 (along Avenue P instead of Kings Highway) which would have been a far better choice, but they rejected it since they are the "experts" and know everything. At the same meeting they also stated that 3 door articulated buses would not be structurally sound for NYC streets.It usually takes them 5 to 10 years to realize what everyone else realizes right away. |

Shame those are the people making the 'decisions'. We need more of a voice on that board.Av P would've been much better than Kings Hgwy. The only downside would be the walk to the subway station at 16th St. Otherwise Av P is much wider than Kings hgwy there and would speed up the B82. I also think that the B82 should run along Flatlands-Av M to Kings Hgwy than to turn on Flatbush to Kings Hgwy. |

It's only one block to Avenue P, and you would still have the local if you didn't want to walk.The B82 (B50) originally ran from Flatlands to Ave K to Kings Highway which was a much better route, but the people on Ave K didn't want a bus. I think it should be moved back there. Those two blocks are wide and there was no reason why a bus couldn't run there. Now that the population has changed, they should try to move it back there again. There might not be any objections. |

Routing the LTD to Avenue P gives them less buses to choose from whether they stay on Kings Highway or whether they walk to Avenue P. |

When they initially proposed SBS they stated it would be an additional service to what currently operates. Later they stated that SBS would replace limited service. That makes it a service cut since stops are less frequent than limited. |

I am not in favor of it, for neighborhood (Flatbush area) reasons. I don't think it is a benefit.Personally, BRT in NYC does not make sense compare to BRT across the country. I mean should a BRT route have fare control access booths or something at its "stations" and also should the lane have more priority and control then what I see on the SBS 12. Just a thought. |

Yeah, it's like they follow Gerritson or Flatbush and is trying to 'correct' the angled street starting with McDonald. I just don't understand it at all.Also two more wtfs: Av L and M on Flatbush Av. They are divided by some buildings meaning to continue strait thru from one end to another, you'd need to use Kings Highway or Flatlands Av. Av L would've been fine if it was continuous and a 2way street and then Flatlands would've been made pointless. |
