Posted by CapitalCruiser on Tue Mar 9 15:55:23 2010 Has been parked out back of the Albany Division and is being stripped for parts. This along with 9904, a fire wreck, are gone. Also, we have Cats (Charlotte Area Transit System) 848 here and it was brought up to Peter Pan/Coach Builders for paint and touch ups. Hopefully, we'll have it back soon. Our RTS,# 518(ex PVTA 1136)is awaitng a new title from Mass DMV so as soon as it get's here, it'll be on the road. |

I love how CDTA seems to be the only transit agency who has had so many fire issues with their LFS's (how many losses is it now, 6?). Of course, when you perform zero maintenance on your buses for the first half of their assumed lives, that says something. And yet I still have a feeling that Nova will find some way to get back into bed with CDTA when the Gillig deal is up after next year. At least Nova's moved the engine to a normal place where fires are a lot less common. Is CDTA even getting more Gilligs this year? |

I'm not sure about that because of the way it looks, it's been there a while. License plates are gone, tail lights are gone, looks like alot is gone so they've been parting it for some time. 630 is still there tho! |

I think they are using 4008H-4019H for the new BRT service in May until the BRT buses come in 2011 and I think they are going to be Artics. |
