San Francisco rules!I see they have upgraded the 44-O'Shaughnessy to 40-foot buses, the one time I rode it in the 90s, it was on a 35-foot Orion I (9000 series). |

Hey Trevor,I am glad to see you guys enjoying beautiful Southern Calufornia. I look forward to the yard visit on Thursday and the excursion on Saturday. San Diego Transit 401, the first 5307 built will also be on the trip and I am not sure what I am bringing yet but it will be fun. Thursday yard visit will be fun as I have brought out some real neat buses for you guys to try out. See you guys later this week. |

I love how those near-ancient ex-AC Transit Gilligs at Muni are still in service when they were supposed to be temporary. Who would they go to next and will the Muni kiss of death apply to them?I also love how the Samtrans stop at Trasbay that handles articulated buses (dating back to the era of Volvos and Neoplans) has a curve in it right where the bellows go. |
