The engine cover (or whatever the official term for that thing in the center is...) is different than the other MTA Bus units. They originally came with a metal cover that has an upward angle (and has no blue on it). It appears they used one from a retired NYCT unit. |

That entire rear wall vent set up is from a 1999 model Orion 05.501. None of the Ex-NYC DOT Orion V Suburbans were delivered with this wall.
