I remember when the moves initially began, one of my sources told me that there was a preliminary plan for WF to get about 50 to 60 O5 CNGs, replacing all the RTSs there, as well as the 1993 and 1994-95 O5 diesels.By my count, that would've been 9827-9887 (minus 9872 since its scrapped). Also, the plan was also to send the 1998-99 O5 6000-series diesels to MTAB. Lots of changes now. |

Spring Creek needs every bus for score. Now though, the question is: Will it run out of Gleason with MTA Bus markings? 9845 and 9848 have not been relabeled from MTA Bus since going to West Farms (9848 ran for a time with College Point markings). This makes sense actually; the transit O5s (9827-9931) can run until 2011 with current tank certification). Now if the MTA will pull buses out of Casey Stengel storage and send them to Gleason. |

True about SC, but when the ex-BL buses goes to MTA Bus, there will be buses [likely hybrids] displaced and they could be sent to SC to displace their CNGs.I know it's likely not gonna be like that, but just saying it could be done and wouldn't require much of a 'far distance move'. |
