The scumbag got what he deserves, an attack on a vehicle used for transportating passengers puts everyone inside the bus at risk for a deadly accident. What if the bitch thew an object which impaled the B/O, causing him to lose control and crash into a loaded propane tank or a gas station???? |

It did not help matters when the Bx21 was probably traveling soutbound towards the 3rd Ave split.On a downhill where the road ends in a T, the asshole probably didn't expect be hit by the bus - - when you smash a windshield, the driver has little or no visibility. |

Kids turn 18 and are so quick to run around screaming "I'm grown, I'm a man", etc, yet many of them don't even have the maturity to know what it is to BE an adult...I'm really sorry that the driver had to go through that, though... |

This reminds me I was busfanning on an WF route a few weeks ago and some kids threw some hard black stuff at the bus I was on thus shattering the window. Nobody was hurt, one of the black stuff that the kids threw at the bus landed in the seat next to me. The window didn't break it was just shattered. We sat in the nearest bus stop while the B/O called Command center I assume. He kept the bus in service (Yay!) I was happy it was in kept it service because it was an Orion V and its hard to find those on an WF route. The B/O was telling an rider on the bus that kids throw stuff at the buses on that block all the time. I was shocked that the bus stayed in service but not as shocking as when I was once on this R42 (J) Train that cought on fire and yet the train stayed in service! |

The incident was ruled as an accident and the driver, who was not identified, was not charged, police said.Good to hear that the B/O won't face criminal charges, but I hope he isn't in a "jackpot" w/ MTA. Shouldn't be, but you never know w/ them. |
