I know what you mean by the "Loose" feeling, for one the age and secondly the operating environment and constant use, coupled with maintenance. That is not New Flyers fault, this is a NYCT issue and just because the bus looks pretty doesn't meant that it will ride nice. The Orion VII's go through the same thing as well as the Nova RTS's, these streets will kill a bus and this is why when new models come out, they are simulated tested on a computer with "New York Streets" as the criteria. After a couple of years we will see the same thing happen to the Nova LFS Artics, and the rest of the Orion VII's as well. Age will always tell the true story of any vehicle in NYC. |
