It looks like it might be a success if they do it right. And I see that the buses will have Wi-Fi in it as well so it should be very interesting to say the least. |

Still, I wonder if it will work. HOV ends at the Queens line and the BQE is a disaster and a half. The LI locations are good though, and the AM schedule for Wall St works since those guys gotta get in early, and a lot of them probably come from those 2 areas on Long Island.I wonder if something between Melville/Jericho and NYC would work. You could run reverse peak service as well. It would come from the city, loop around Melville, go to the park and ride, and go to NYC |

Looking at the schedule, they going to use the LIE all the way to the Midtown Tunnel since the Downtown buses are going to stop at 2nd Ave and 34 St so those buses are going to use the Midtown Tunnel HOV lane in the AM Rush Hours |

Very interesting stuff, schedule and locations look very appropriate and the fare is very reasonable and competitive with the LIRR - more commuter bus services (i.e. Jersey) should look into the whole WiFi thing for greater interest among commuters - eventually it'll become the norm....WorldWide Tours is really becoming the next Bestway getting their hand involved in many different ventures (Vamoose to the DC area, Sunflower/GGM Mohegan Sun runs from Chinatown and Flushing, Asian market AC bus service, SGS Travelscope AC service)Joel, what ever happened to the service you proposed a few months back with service operating from park-n-ride locations on the L.I.E to Midtown and JC? |

I want to run everything with my own equipment and that means prioritizing. The deal that would have gotten all of those buses in one shot fell through in May. |

Maybe their charter operation goes to hell in the winter. Let's see what happens when the weather warms up and they need the equipment!I'd rather be on the train anyway than sit on the LIE. |

When LIRR fares go up 25% it will be significantly less than a peak LIRR ticket and more comfortable. I think this new express bus is a great idea...whoever thought of it was very smart indeed, the timing couldn't be better! |

PM schedule definitely could be better. It seems they're trying to beat the worst of the traffic, since they only use the HOV lane for 3 exits. And honestly, I'd take a C3 with a transfer any day over an H series |

Transfers to either route would be pretty useless. The only route the would be a good transfer is a non-existent Glen Cove-Bayville one. Now that I think about it, even having a clock tower stop in Roslyn wouldn't do much. Christopher Morely is a great location b/c there is tons of parking there that is never used except winter evenings and summer weekends.I just wish someone would start a reverse peak bus service. That is a transit gap that the railroad can not fill for a long time. |

People drive to the bus. The N21/N27 terminal wouldn't be convenient anyway for Sea Cliff. Honestly, the only other stop I could imagine there being, keeping with their park and ride model, would be Greenvale at the shopping center across from the animal hospital with the Wendys and Burger King(and TJ Maxx?). Easy in, easy out, and good amount of parking. Plus you have everyone passing there that would be driving from 25A from the east |
