I know 1201, 236, 5227, 3006, 1502, 275, 4904, 3865, 10001, 8466, 8928, 621, 623 run. What is the status of 7144, 9098, 2969, 6259, 3758, 3100, 1059? If they were cared for properly they run. Westcher County RTS's were 8V71 also, but depending on the contract carrier that had them they were great or sucked. Buses that Club, Mt Kisco or Plesantville were rockets. Ones from Liberty and Bronxville were dogs an old timer told me when I worked for the Bee-line. |

Yeah - All of those slopeback RTS-03 in the NYC area had the DD 8V71 engine. Those at GBL looked and sounded like crap very quickly. Interesting enough, Triboro used theirs pretty much only in express service for several years. |

You can always lurk in areas where more than one bus route intersects. (West 34th Street and 7th Ave, Lincoln Center area, etc) but the spread of routes and length of some (M20 and Q32) make it more difficult to catch. |
