End of an era the last Orion V |

Posted by busfreak99 on Tue Nov 25 15:31:27 2008 I just got word from my contact from Orion that the last Orion V will roll off the production line in NY on December 8th. The last Orion V will be going to Sonoma County Transit in California they are the final CNG orion V's. Westchester County got the last 30 Diesel models this year. [I just got word from my contact from Orion that the last Orion V will roll off the production line in NY on December 8th.]The Motor Bus Society visited the Orion plant in Mississauga in mid-October and we observed the frame for this bus, knowing it was the last production Orion V. Unfortunately, we were not permitted to bring cameras into or take pictures in the plant. |
