This is an extremely sharp curve people! It was a accident that just happened to be a Hybrid O7. The accidents with O5s on the stretch are unmentioned here but I'm sure there have been a few. And you can bet that there are accidents with cars, especially when other cars are sitting at the light on Broadway.View Larger Map |

What SIers need to do is perhaps have a light installed at the intersection...or speed humps approaching it. Call 3-1-1...and have others do it as well. |

Yep. the bus will eventually get fixed, but as for the bus operator, ________________ ( fill in the blank ).it seems to be due to driver error |

However, the NYCDOT hasn't done enough to do traffic calming. If it really has, then accidents here would be isolated incidents. |

A bus hit a pole on a sharp curve. Someone responded saying it was a sharp curve and was a problem. I responded that it is built-in traffic calming for the road, so it's a good feature. I don't understand what angle you are taking. |
