no, it was posted that modifications (to the suspension?) where made to the buses to presumably lower them, either permanently or for just when going through the tunnel.

Just one revision to the list: 450-499 is for southwest New Jersey intastate locals (the 468 fits into that class as the Salem County local).

However...with the 71xx MCIs and the upcoming NABIs, no federal money has or will be used.

It might depend where, however. But as the casinos are PRIVATE enterprises...it is discretionary.

I will share my soda with you. I will take the bottom half, you will take the top half.

To get to the bottom half, I had to drink your half, too. Sorry.

Let me know if you can't figure out how my puzzle relates.

As more multi-level rail cars come in, the overcrowding and standing situation should ease

Uh, don't count on it.

Secaucus Junction is grossly underutilized and should have more bus lines feeding it
  • That's not what it was built for;
  • It's not "underutilized";
  • That would be a logistical disaster.

Having buses stop at SEC would

. . . be a headache and slow down buses and trains.

That would be plumb useless. Run a train to AC via the Southern Division instead.

Biggest problem with this is most peak trains are already SRO at SEC. Where are the people going to go?

if NJT decides to do so, ACES could stop at SEC and the casinos are paying for that

No they aren't. NJT's been putting up the money. By the time the trains are running, they'll end up raising the fare to $100 one-way and nobody will ride.
