When I 1st saw it, I thought it was ugly and looked like a spaceship.Now that I've seen the MCIs up close for Peter Pan, NJT and now the MTA, I kind of like the new design. After looking at the current MCI design since 1998, it gives the bus a totally different unique look. I can also say the same for the Orion VII. I can't stand the current "tissue box" design but I do like the NG Version. |

The front end uses extremely cheap looking headlights (looks like they are from the 1980's) and combines it with an uninspired "grill". And then the rear is a HUGE asymmetric mess. And again, it's asymmetric just to be different - it doesn't look good, and it also doesn't leave room to put large bus number stickers in the upper left corner, as we've seen. |

I mean no one will be able to complain about not seeing the route displayed on the rear LED but I prefer the look of the older Cruisers. Still like Classics the most though. I'd rather ride a CNG on the QM1A then this thing. And the NG O7's look horrible to me, I like the older ones. The boxy design to me is better than whatever this new design is. IMO, I'll be happy if KB gets the old ones instead of the new buses so long as the LED is amber/orange. |
