Posted by mci guy on Thu May 22 16:27:58 2008, in response to Re: MTA Orion VII NG, posted by Jan 6109 on Wed May 21 18:22:04 2008. remember the mta has yet to accept the bus and give the ok for the full order to be produced. two units were produced and this may be the third due 5/26/08. this info courtesy of dmcr a poster at transitstuff who knows someone at the orion plant. if mta gives the ok 850 units will be produced over 2-3 years. 745 go to nyct and the balance to mta bus. first 30 were to go to yukon depot beginning 8/1/08.we will see what happens. |
