Not once have I accused the drivers of vandalizing anything. They don't stop the bus..snip the strips, and keep it moving. They simply disable the bell system and it causes distress among the riders, especially during rush hours. Buses get sent out with disabled bell systems all the time..I doubt it's the B/Os doing that rather than that simple issue of lack of maintenanceA few days ago..the 6:30pm S94 bus out St. George..Orion V #6272, we were coming down Henderson Avenue and the Stop Request was working properly all before that...but he disabled it..and stated that you have to yell "Next Stop!". But that's a whole different issue..as we were trailing behind a local S44 bus until Jewett Av..and maybe he wanted to pass it...although he never did. |
