The way the front glass turned inward was much better than the Flexible triangler glass, or fishbowl because it reflected light downward enabling the operator to see better at night with the interior lights on.
Also, the first RTS's had a triangler back side which was modified later to improve the A/C unit.
It was the first bus to have fiberglass panels that would break easy but also didn't dent easily and were easily replaceable cutting down on down time for repairs. They made the bus much lighter also.
The RTS was a very functional city bus. I don't think it was pretty but the design was extremely functional and economic
