That was a big employer in the area back then. I know Bergen ave. had it Central ave too. And A&C bus had the Marion route that used Mallory ave. and culver ave. on the route to Journal Square. And as a kid I would get free rides on Public service route 14 because my brother knew the driver to Bayonne to 1st street and ave.c . There was Uncle Milty's or Bergen point amusement park what a great place. |
