Don't be so quick to criticize the passenger.1. The MTA's borough bus maps do not indicate what color stripes particular buses carry. Even if the maps did so indicate, it was not uncommon for buses to be swapped around amongst the garages and have a wrong-colored stripe in place. 2. The passenger may have realized that many bus drivers fail to change the headsign to the proper route when starting out on a trip, and though it might be best to check on this rather than miss the bus. |
