Another facto I fogot to mention: not EVERY local B41 bus is going to go to Kings Plaza....some are Bergen Beach bound, so even though the ratio might be 2:1 in favor of the B41 arriving it's not necessarily THE bus I (or another local user) may be waiting for....and yes, I am who you believe me to be. ;-DBTW, you missed a nice lecture and slideshow on the history of rail transportation to the Rocakaways that was presented by a park ranger at Gateway National Recreation Area (Cross Bay Boulevard Unit). It was given two Wednesdays ago. Nice shots, with some shots that were lifted from existing websites (that shall remain nameless). Didn't have enough advance notice to alert you about it. |
