A 600-foot B division train should be able to hold close to 2000 people easily, and a 510-foot A divsion train could easily hold 1200-1300. THAT is what people should be directed to...and if they don't want it, they can drive, but it'll cost them (London-style congestion charge).Many depots could be closed as a result of configuration, but IMO, SI should get shorter buses, with many of the longer ones to the other four boroughs. |
