Posted by W.B. on Sat Oct 3 09:42:38 2026 October 3, 1943 - The Book of Route Resumptions Brooklyn, New York Board of Transportation of the City of New York Brooklyn Bus and BMT Surface Divisions The following routes, having had their termini truncated since June 7, are restored to their prior end points thus: - Route 6, Bay Parkway-Avenue M - to Bay Parkway and Cropsey Avenue (from Bay Parkway and Kings Highway) - Route 8, 18th Avenue and Foster Avenue - to 14th and Cropsey Avenues (from 18th and Cropsey Avenues) - Route 14, Pitkin Avenue - to Crescent Street (from Fountain Avenue) - Route 17, Remsen Avenue - service to Seaview Avenue and East 95th Street restored - Route 20, Decatur Street - to Linden Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue (from New Lots and Pennsylvania Avenues) (Source:: "Brooklyn" by Bernard Linder, Motor Coach Age, June-July 1975 - route history by Donald W.
