I have little doubt that NYCT is displayed as the rear display for the "Fare Required" page, with the route number displayed when the route is displayed on the front sign.The "Fare Required" was useful when they started collecting fares again after COVID, but why are they still showing it? No one who wants to evade the fare is going to care about the digital sign. |
