Was there any serious attempt after 1962 to have MaBSTOA's assets transferred to a private carrier. I know in 1965 the Muscat management wanted Surface Transit's routes to be returned to them and I know in 1962 the Cooper companies found MaBSTOA to be too expensive an undertaking. But I would assume that the 70s fiscal crisis would have provided a good opening. |
