Buses vanish off GPS all the time, only to show up somewhere else on the route.There is another problem. GTFS-RT position data is updated only when the bus has moved from its previous position. So, if a bus has stopped for a traffic signal, or is at a bus stop, there will be no data transmitted to show its stopped status. The reason for this is to conserve bandwidth. |
