Do you know exactly when the 30-31 were taken off of Fresh Meadow Lane? I found a 1958 map showing them using FML on both sides of the as-yet unfinished LIE, which was completed thru the area sometime in late 1959.I grew up north of the highway along that route and it is hard to imagine a bus route along that narrow and twisty road. Plenty of spots where two buses couldn't pass each other. |
