I have the feeling that Q53 service to Woodside is going to be toast soon anyways. The MTA wants to consolidate Woodhaven Boulevard bus service so that all buses end at Queens Center, which makes a crapload of sense from an operational/dispatching standpoint, but sucks for the riders, we’ll see how that plays out though. Rockaway Park was not happy about potentially losing the Q53 at all, and justifiably so, it’s more popular than the Rockaway Park Shuttle down there. |
