As well as the Kaufman-Astoria Studios, formerly the Paramount Studios, where such stars as W.C. Fields, Gloria Swanson, Rudolph Valentino, the Marx Brothers, Burns & Allen, plus many others, had done films in that historic landmark space.The studio complex opened on September 20, 1920, and still in use for TV and movie shoots.
