I still remember Paul Steely White who was head of Transportation Alternatives biking to a speech he was giving in Lower Manhattan about 30 years ago.. It was a hot day in June and he approached the podium a hot sweaty mess to give his speech. I wonder what type of impression he thought he was making. I know what I thought. That the guy has no common sense. I have no recollection of anything he said. |
