Same with the New Haven RR - after the sale to PC in 1969, it hung on until about 1981 or so and primarily concerned itself with unwinding the many, many businesses the railroad got into.The PC itself became the American Premier Underwriters asset-holding firm which owns, among other non-rail things, GCT and the Harlem and Hudson lines. |
