Tuscarora Almanac – March 6, 1925 – The Book of First Runs

Lehigh Valley Transit Company

The Lehigh Valley Transit Company creates a bus subsidiary to supplement its trolley routes. The new agency is known as the Lehigh Valley Transportation Company.

Tuscarora Almanac – March 6, 1936 – The Book of First and Last Runs

Manhattan, New York
New York Railways Corporation
New York Omnibus Corporation

The 8th Street Crosstown Line is converted from streetcar to bus operation. The new bus route will be known as Route 13.

The 7th Avenue Streetcar of New York Railways is converted to bus operation.
The new bus service will be known as Route 8.

Route 9 7th Avenue & 8th Street bus line begins at the same time but is discontinued on March 1, 1943.

Streetcar service had been run by the New York Railways Corporation. Buses will be operated by the New York Omnibus Corporation
