As you will see over tomorrow's Bus Almanac, the 3's description of "...via St. Nicholas and Convent Avenues" for years after 1939 would be duplicated in a clunky "merger" of two routes (one FACCo, one NYCO) into "one" with two branches. (What good it did that, one of them would be eliminated in three years' time.) |
