I recall a white paper of the future of BRT and it was “sold” to be that of things declined stations could be moved or removed easily upon demand being it’s not as extensive like light rail. Now you see BRT popping up nation wide. I do think a part of it is political, it takes so much time to implement but then after service starts there are many improvements that could be made to improve the infrastructure and customer experience without bulldozing the asphalt, and it’s never considered. |
